Festival Blues & Jazz - Burle Marx
- Alex Reis Trio
- Nuno Mindelis
- Orleans Street Jazz Band
- Ana Carolina

There is a Government program in Brazil - Culture Incentive Program - and as Government programs here it has its problems and anomalies, such as the program sponsor the production of Ex- Culture Minister Gilberto Gil DVD show, who also earned money by selling it.
On the other hand, the same program offers some remarkable moment to the population with enjoyment and culture, as it happened this weekend at Festival BB Seguridade de Blues & Jazz in Sao Paulo.
Presenting an eclectic and pleasant line-up and with a really great organisation (at least on the day I was there), the audience enjoyed the excellent sunset on Saturday afternoon listening:

In fact, I just saw three last songs by Alex Reis Trio, but it was enough to notice how talented are those guys.
Nuno Mindelis was a great gig. Presenting his Blues full of "rock ´n roll" energy with his talented band, he brought a great soundtrack to that day. Unfortunately the audience was much more focused on the last attraction of the night - Ana Carolina - and they did not reacted at the same high level as the band on the stage.
It´s also important to mention the funny interval presentations by Orleans Street Jazz Band who enchanted the audience.
The "peak moment" for the public in general, however disconnected from the essence of the festival was the show of Ana Carolina, who was really sympathetic, attracting the great majority of the audience (she was the big star of the night), but talking about Jazz or Blues... welll it was not the essence of her show.
The Festival was another rare example of the correct usage of this Culture Incentive program. Another good example of free event which pleased the audience. It was an excelent example of why Sao Paulo is this great city.
